DH Broke his pinky finger

A few weeks ago DH was working on his dad's car and the rear end fell on his hand.  After having it hurt for a few weeks he finally got his mom to watch the girls and went to the doctor.  Turns out he has a fractured pinky and has to wear a splint for a few weeks.  He's going to have a lot of fun trying to change diapers like that.

  • Why so they wait for so long to go to the Dr.? It always amazes me how long Shane will hobble around before thinking, huh, this doesn't feel right. Hope the splint helps.

No kidding!  Of course I think his main reason for avoiding the doctor is that he would have to take both girls with him because his mother has been either in the hospital or recovering from surgery the past few weeks.  She was finally well enough to watch them some this week.  I guess I can't blame him for not wanting to go to the doctor with a 2 year old and 11 month old.  Especially considering he had to go to the Dr, go to the hospital for xrays and then go back to the Dr!
