NBR: getting hair cut, need ideas!

I'm getting my hair cut today and I have no idea how I want to get it done/what style to do! I'm getting at least 10 inches to cut off to donate to Locks of Love, so it will end up being short. I do think I want to keep it long enough to be able to put it in a pony tail, but I want a cute cut! I know some of you ladies have some ideas! GO! :) TIA!

Oh and here is the most recent pics (Jan.) that I have of my hair and my nice round face courtesy of my boys! haha!

    That's so awesome you're doing that! I donated to Locks of Loves a few years ago.. it's an incredible feeling!

    I think an inverted bob would be great... keep it on the longer side (shoulder length) and then you will still be able to pull it back. It's low maintenence but still looks very chic!

    I cant see some similarities between you and Amber Tamblyn-- what about something like this?

    The 1st picture of her w/ the lighter hair and shoulder length style. It looks like it would be pretty low maintenance too.
