Cut her finger and not the nail.. ugh!

Feeling like the worst mommy on the planet ever! It looks so horrible! I put neosporin on it, a bandaid and a mitten so she doesn't put it in her mouth.

Please tell me you've done this so I don't feel so horrible. /wrists. Crying

    Yup I have done this too.? I cried when I did it...it didn't even bother him though.? Ugh!?

    i took a huge chunk out of my DD's finger several weeks ago. she SCREAMED her head off.  it bled a little bit.  i just left it because she sucks on her hands and fingers so much. 

    don't worry,  i think everyone does it at one point or another!

    I cried too.. and so did my dd. :-/  I wish she wouldn't have; it would have lessened the guilt.

    I cut a chunk out of DS's thumb.  He flinched and barely made a cry, but I cried.  I also put neosporin and a bandaid on it .  My daycare lady asked about it the next day!  I felt awful.  It healed very quickly.  This may sound weird, but if you bf, put some bm in it.

    i didn't feel that bad until i told my DH about it while he was at work.  he made me feel way worse and then i DID start to cry!

    seriously though,  when i posted about it,  there were a ton of people who have done the same thing.  trust.

    I did it with my first, and I cried...it was horrible.

    I did it once.  Her lip immediately went out & she started crying, but I cried for much longer than she did :-(  I never used clippers again.  I use baby nail scissors now & it's much safer.

    I did it...then I had to take DS to DH's office to sign some papers and everyone asked me about it....it sucked.
