Dr or No?

My baby girl is 4 weeks old on Thursday, and she has her one month checkup Friday... she was almost 5 weeks premature. She has been doing so well, but this morning I was attempting to feed her and she sounded snotty and a little raspy. I suctioned her nose and that helped some, but she didnt take much of her bottle, which is what made me concerned. She has been taking close to 3oz if its expressed breastmilk, and she only took 1. She ate fine all through the night. Her temp is 98.0.

Her peds office doesnt open til 830.. so I just wanted to see what you guys thought. She should be eating again at 9, so my plan is to try and feed her then, see how she does with that one, and then call the ped.

I appreciate any thoughts!

    w/ ds#1 we had a similar situation. Our pedi said that we didn't need to call unless he completely refused 2 feedings in a row. We were told that sometimes when their noes is stuffy it is hard for them to eat so often they will eat less but more frequently. So I would probably call and talk to your pedi so they know what is going on but you may not need to make a trip in just yet.

    Thank you very much! She ate a little better the next feeding, but I did go ahead and call and thats exactly what they said! I am just supposed to keep an eye on her and call them back if she develops a fever or seems to be getting worse.
