Is there a big difference....

...between the regular Target prenatal vitamins I have been taking and the ones the doc will prescribe at the first appointment?

Re: Is there a big difference....

  • There's no way to tell unless you know the brand he/she will prescribe.  Do your Target PNVs have DHA in them?

  • Do you have a costco near by? My Dr told me to get the natures made PNV. They sell them there for cheaper. They have DHA

  • P.S. you can take ur target PNV and just add expecta pill to it. They are DHA pills located right by the PNV : )

  • Also, your doctor may not prescribe you PNVs at all- mine didn't.

  • There are guidelines that the FDA must follow for pnv so any brand is fine, they have to have a certain amount of all the ingredients. Sometimes the dr will prescribe you some if you can get them cheaper with your insurance.
