I honestly did not think Baby O would hold off this long, but she is apparently still cooking. I was fine with her coming or fine with her waiting all weekend (I feel a bit like a time-bomb but I am still physically pretty comfortable so I am not in a huge hurry) but yesterday Eloise woke up from her nap with a fever of 102.5! She has no other symptoms just a high fever when the tylonal wears off and she gets a little clingy and grumpy, but her belly, throat, etc. seem fine. Now, I REALLY do not want to go into labor while she is sick. First off because it will break my heart that I cannot be there when she needs me. And also all of our plans about what to do with her when I go into labor involve taking her to someone's house with young children until my SIL can get to her from the city. Obviously I cannot take a sick kid to someone else's house. Because my last labor was so quick I need to get to the hospital ASAP when it is time so we cannot really wait around the house for SIL to get here. Should we just take her to the hospital with us? That sounds like a nightmare. Really it would just be easier if Olive held off until Eloise is over this bug. Any suggestions!
PS: Also super concerned about me or the baby catching whatever she has. Crap.
Re: Delay labor dust, please!
Could your sister in law come and stay with you guys in case she is needed?
The day that we brought Winter home, Grey through up that night, over night and a few times the next day. It was awful! But, luckily, Winter, nor I caught whatever he had.
