    Yes.  You will want to have a spare while the other is in the wash.

    Yes and a great tip is double make the bed.  Then if the bed gets messed in the middle of the night you just take off the top sheet and pad and the bed's already made.

    We use a fitted mattress cover with a flat waterproof protector on top then the crib sheet.  The fitted cover takes forever to dry so we have two of the flat protector sheets.
