I just found the hugest spider in the basement, and of course, DH is not home!! Ugh! Now I have the creepy crawlies just thinking about it... and I KNOW the thing will have hidden itself by the time DH gets home. Plus, DH always tries to carry it outside... and half the time ends up dropping it. If he dropped this one... oh man, I would be running screaming! (who am I kidding... i'd be screaming even if it was a small spider!)

Tongue Tied I absolutely feel for you. Spiders are something that get me every time. I can't even kill them, for fear of them jumping on me.

I'm so sorry. I hope he can find it when he gets home. Also, might I recommend some good spider killing spray?!? I keep a can in the garage for when I go out there and find big @ss wolf spiders.

There was a humongous, tarantula-sized one in our basement the other night (that's where our bedroom is, too), and I always defer to DH when I spot one. I'm so afraid they'll jump on me. I think if he was gone, though, I'd have to convince myself to put on some giant boots and squish it. I hope the spider can be located when your DH gets home!
