CD6 and I'm already out for this cycle :(

Long story short, DH's dog bit me pretty badly over the weekend when I was trying to get the booger to come inside, and I've got a nasty puncture wound on my arm. The doc today put me on some very strong meds and told us that we need to avoid ttc this cycle. So not only am I in pain and taking some extremely unpleasant meds, but we are also out for cycle #2. Sad I'm just really bummed about the entire ordeal. 
*** Trigger Warnings ***

TTC #1 since March 2011
Dx = Unexplained IF
1 medicated TI cycle & 4 clomid IUIs = all BFNs
June 2013 IVF #1 = 6 frosties + BFP!
DS1 born 2/14

TTC #2 since December 2014
May 2015 unassisted BFP ended in m/c at 7wks
April 2016 FET #1 = BFN
June 2016 FET #2 = c/p
August 2016 FET #3 = BFP!
DS2 born 4/17

    Awww...that is terrible.  I'm sorry!  At least you have cycle #3 to look forward too now! Smile

    I'm sorry my gfriend dog bit me in January and had 10 stitches on my lip! I am so self concious of it...I know doc said no to ttc but if it happens it happens and also you can look forward to cycle #3 with no stress

    Aww, that sucks! I'm really sorry.

    Try to take advange of not being (possibly) KU this cycle. It might make it more bearable.

    Ugh, I'm sorry!! The feeling of having to skip a cycle is awful. It can feel like wasted time (or at least it did for me). Sad Hang in there & GL to you.

    I'm really sorry that you are out for the cycle.

    I would also consider taking the dog to a behaviorist or trainer.  I would be scared to have a dog that bites around my baby.

    Ouch! That sounds awful =(  Hopefully this cycle will pass quickly and you can have a better chance next cycle.


     

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

    That sucks. I actually had the same thing happen to me 2 nd cycle. My dog and IL's dog got into a fight over a toy that I was holding. I had some tries in, but with all the meds I was on, I dont think that cycle stood a chance. GL next cycle and feel better!
