So I've told one friend that I am pregnant and she told me that two people have already asked if I was pregnant. They told her that they could tell by looking at me.
Ummmm wtf does that mean? She swears she can't tell a difference, but one of these ladies had never even met be before.
Now I'm afraid I'm giving off the I'm fat and miserable vibe already. How does one look pregnant at 9weeks? Do they just mean chubby? I seem to be the same size-ish.. but a bit bloated in the belly area.
Re: Pregnancy Vibe-- developing a complex!
Someone said that to me too...a girlfriend said
I "looked different" at just 7 weeks. I asked what she meant, and she said my face looked different and asked if I was pregnant. I was blown away!
Maybe I looked happy? Or just zitty LOL?

So what exactly does a pregnant woman look like?
Thanks darling-- I'm not really thin, but I'm not overweight either. I usually wear a size 8/10-- leaning more towards ten.
I do look bloated, but I've always looked a bit bloated since I've gained weight (only recently started wearing a size 8/10 in the last two years) so I don't think it's that out of the ordinary for me to have a little belly.
This one looks bloated and miserable! I had that same thought when my husband told me about his coworker. I was giving major side-eye to him.
Oh wait, I was side-eyeing myself in the mirror and all I could see was a my bloat gut.
ETA: Bump burp.

My friend's father commented that I looked like I lost weight yesterday. I cracked up and informed him that I actually gained 5 pounds. His response: "Well, it went to a good place!" I'll take it! Then, my own father pinched me in my tummy today and said that I was starting to show. That knocked me off of my cloud!
I'm a pre-pregnancy size 6-8 with a relatively flat tummy, and I'm currently rocking a lot of bloat.
A little over a week ago my sister said to me "Aw, you're showing!" (she's known since the beginning I was pregnant). Its just bloat, but I'm also not normally bloated all the time!
On the other hand - over the past few years I have had many many people tell me I looked like I was pregnant when I wasn't. I think I am just at that age and life stage where people are just waiting for the "big announcement". The most awkward one was a few years ago when a male co-worker emailed me after a meeting to ask if I was pregnant - he said he couldn't help but notice my "healthy glow".
