Need to figure out a sexier way of saying...

"Honey... I'm ovulating!"   LOL.  The word is so completely kills any sexuality lovemaking!

So when you were TTC, how did you 'initiate things' in the bedroom to let DH know when you were fertile??

  • I NEVER told him it was that magic time of the month.  He doesn't need to know.  If you make it all about making a baby, it takes all the sexy out of it and makes it just sex.  Make it fun!  We had a harder time the 1st time TTC and while DH knew I was temping and stuff, I never kept him updated on what time of the month it was - I sent him texts messages telling him he was all mine that  night, get out some sexy things to wear - whatever you used to do to get him excited when you were not in baby making mode.

  • My husband and I are trying for our first, so I actually share a lot with him including when I'm ovulating. We're excited so it hasn't really affected our sex life that much. Rather than saying, "Honey, I'm ovulating" I just take charge and make sure things get done. I don't know too many men who say "No" to spontaneous bedroom play. ;)
