In a couple hours I'm hitting the road with Warner for an 7+ hour road trip down to Charlotte to visit some good friends of mine. DH is staying here so it's just me and the little guy.

I figure that I'll stop for dinner in the Raleigh area (about 4 hours from here) and get Warner changed into pjs and *hopefully*, he'll fall asleep for the rest of the trip. When I get there around 11ish, I can go inside and get the pack n play set up for him and he is usually pretty easy to get back to sleep. We just did this back in February when we went to visit SIL and it worked out pretty well (of course, I had DH helping me then!).

Anyway, I've got dvds, snacks, stickers, and an iPod loaded with awesomely annoying kids music...so I'm hoping for the best!

Good luck! I will very likely be making this same drive (although not quite as far a Charlotte) by myself with DS this summer to see my peoples in NC so I am curious how it goes!
