Cincinnati Babies

Cincy Childrens for eye today

Saw Dr. Motley.

He wants to watch and see but believes she just has congenital ptosis.  He said we will go back in 2-3 months and recheck and until he notices it affecting her vision he doesn't want to do anything and hopes that perhaps the muscle will develop more to lift the lid.

I hate wait and watch but also hate just doing something to do something.  Don't ya just feel helpless?

Re: Cincy Childrens for eye today

  • DS went to Dr. Yang in mid-March and was diagnosed with Duane's Syndrome (nerve did not form properly to innervate the outer muscle of the eye, so his left eye does not move to the outer corner). Obviously not curable, but should not be a huge factor unless secondary issues develop, We also have to go back every 4 months.

It IS hard to wait and see.  :(

Hope all goes well and it goes away on it;s own for you!
