Hi(waving to everyone) Im 25 years old this is my 2nd time being prego(the 1st time ended in m/c) needless to say I have plenty of "Auntie" experience but no real "mommy" experience. Im ofcourse excited and scared as heck. So anyone here with any advice, tips, free promo codes, ideas, or know where I can get free and/or cheap baby items/clothes and maternity clothes please let me know thanks!!
Re: Young 1st Time mommy-to-be...any helpis greatly appreciated
Check out the tot swap and weecycle sales (you can google them). They do new mom night and you get first dibs on some great and cheap stuff. There are also the trimester boards if you look on the menu to your left, that will be a big help.
Good luck!
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
craigslist is good just be cautious of course
there is a huge community yardsale in may coming up in parkville. usually lots of babystuff there.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm a young first time mommy too.
I agree with pps that the Totswap and Weecycle sales are great. I know there are Totswap sales coming up in Gaithersburg, Columbia, and Timonium this summer. They have tons of baby stuff and also some cheap maternity clothes. You can register early to go to the "new mom" sale and get first dibs on everything! The website is www.totswap.net.
Check with your hospital/birth center about parenting and pregnancy classes. They often offer them for free.
