How is Alex today? how did the xray turn out? I hope he is feeling better and all is well with you guys.

    Hey hey!

    Thanks for thinking of us.  He is okay, still holding strong around 100 degrees when the motrin wears off.

    The dr did not call me, so she said no word means that the x-ray was clear.  I'm glad they did it, of cours eI don't want him to have pneumonia, but I almost would have been relieved so we could get some antibiotics and be done with it.  

    At this point I think it's just a virus.  We are going to head down to my parent's house tomorrow anyway (we were supposed to go today) and just lay low (we were going to go to SF but that's obviously out).  I don't feel like he'll get worse, and if he does, it's only an hour away in Walnut Creek.

    I just wish the $%^ fever would take a hike!  Thanks for all your input and help yesterday, and always.  Love it.

    He was back up to 102.1 before bed.

    I don't know what to do.  I just called the advice and they are paging the on-call doc.  They say they think she probably didn't look at the x-ray results yesterday....  I wonder.  We'll see what the doctor says.

    I am so nervous.  I hate it when he's sick it makes me a wreck and this has just been far too long.

    The doc called and is going to see him in the morning for a full panel of testing.  Thank God. 

    I love our practice but our personal pedi that we have as our main dr is so casual about things.  I feel like the others are not like that.  Weird.  In any case, obviously not sure now if we are going to my moms or not... probably not.  ALex is going to hate me for that, but such is the way of the world, right?!?!

    Aww, I know I hate disappointing Elena, but yes if it is for his health, you have to do what you have to do. It does seem like a long illness. I have seen some prolonged viral illnesses though, so I hope that's all it is. I would hope that if there is a pneumonia, some radiologist would have paged your doctor. Good luck and feel better soon.
