What do you do while BFing? DS has been snacking all afternoon so I've almost finished a book and I have to say reading a good book makes BFing so much more enjoyable and makes me feel less trapped in a chair until he is full. I SHOULD be working on grad school applications, however Stick out tongue

. Oh well, being lazy is what sundays are for right?

If I'm in bed, I'm usually on my phone reading blogs, forums, checking FB, etc.

If I'm downstairs, I usually have the TV on. I should read more though--I have so many books on the Kindle just waiting to be read!

I just sit and watch the funny faces my LO makes. In the beginning when she was getting used to BFing I would read a BFing book (not very helpful) but she finishes in about 5-10mins now then I change her and switch sides. I have learned the only way that I can wake her up to eat on the other side is by changing in between

I'm usually on the computer or playing solitaire on my phone. LO finishes in about 10 minutes so I don't have too much time to fill.

Depends on the time of day. I do everything from pump to watch tv to search the internet to sit in silence and I'm sure a few other random things as well.

trash TV all the way. I fully employ the DVR, however with the previous post about the Kindle, i may have to have the hubby get me one. I just can't read a real book while trying to keep the LO latched on. She has to be reminded to eat periodically.

DS takes FOREVER to eat, and I watch a lot of TV while I'm breastfeeding. Thank God for DVR. I think I've watched every season of Criminal Minds just in the time I've been on maternity leave from recording them at night.

I also am usually on my iPad or phone using Facebook and of course, The Bump! The one thing that annoys me is that I can't respond to posts from my iPad or my phone (if anyone is able to do this and I'm just missing something, please let me know!), so I just read posts and then respond later from my laptop.

I'm usually on The Bump or Facebook, watch shows on Hulu or Netflix, read a book, or read books to him. At night I doze because I have started side nursing. DS eats A LOT during the day so I have lots of time to fill.

Usually I'm either on the phone or watching TV. I do spend a lot of time while nursing just looking at DD and rubbing her soft cheeks. Smile

Thanks for reminding me ckandi, I need to bring my Kindle out too...I also have books on it that I haven't yet read.

I still need both hands to make sure DS is nursing correctly, so if I do anything but look at him/talk to him, I might be watching TV. I've asked DH for a kindle bc it's currently not possible for me to read a book and breastfeed at the same time. (I interrupt DS, boo).

I'm usually sitting here on the bump now since I found this website haha. That or watching tv, and sometimes doing something I can do with one hand. I just put her in a secure football hold and walk around haha.

It depends on where I'm at... usually watch tv and/or play around on my phone, get on the internet on my laptop if I'm in the kitchen, read books to her when I'm in her room, doze off a little bit.

This. My LO typically BFs for at least 30 minutes at a time... sometimes much longer... so that's a lot of time to fill. I should start reading while BFing... I'm in a book club and we're meeting in a couple weeks to discuss a book I haven't even started yet!
