If we aren't talking on the nest.. I'm sorry- the bump, we are all talking on Facebook.

Do any of us have any other friends???????? Or is it because we have babies and don't get to out on Saturday nights anymore?

lol it's so true, except that I don't have a baby yet!! In my old life (ie before moving to chicago) I never spent weekends nesting, but alas I have pretty much no friends here Surprise and DH is always working.

PLUS I'm on bed rest (which still doesn't mean I have friends) but all in all now my life is facebook and nest!

No life here. If I was smart I would be sleeping like my Izzy is doing. O well, she'll be up soon so no point in trying to sleep now.

I have no life and I don't have the baby yet. However being in the 1st Tri, I get so tired that I just don't have the energy to do anything anymore.

I so know what you are saying. I have no life on Saturday nights:( I'm addicted to being online. I do have friends other than online, but they are always going and spending money on shopping or eating out and I'm nice and broke, aka, I can't go anywhere.

I have no life and the baby won't be here til May. Neither DH or I have the energy to do anything today. Our big outing was to the dog park and grocery store. I hope one of these days we'll have enough energy to do something fun

Seriously, like Reem, I don't make friends easily and we just met one couple with a baby, so that is one friend, but my other friends either did the baby thing years ago, or are not kid people... Ethan is in bed to early we can;t really take him places at this point and I am not comfortable with a sitter yet.

So i stay home and ChaCha and nest!

Yeah, I've never had much of a social life. My few friends live in other cities. I was feeling all depressed today because I have no girlfriends I can go shopping with. I'm trying to convince my mommy friend to drag her toddler downtown for a Saturday shopping trip. Maybe in November. I hope.

Seriously! I just did a load of laundry an DH is playing video games while I catch up on Grey's Anatomy and browse Etsy. I can't wait for the girls to come home frm the NICU so at least I'll have a better excuse for not having a life!

I agree- it's hard to have friends when you are broke. They all want to go out to dinner or to movies etc. Well when I'm not working I can't go out and spend $40 on a Saturday night anymore... and I'm no lightweight so 1 beer doesn't cut it! lol

I will talk to anyone and make friends... but it's hard when you are 27 with a baby... all my friends are either younger and unmarried or they are older with older kids. Oh well.... maybe when Charlie gets to 1st grade I will can make friends with those mom's!

I have lots of friends that live over an hour away- that's not fun!

ugh...i have friends irl, but we never go out anymore. i do lots of things with other moms in the daytime, but at night i'm home. i was driving along with dh and ds today (on our way to get gas and go to the store) thinking how beautiful the weather was. the air had that feeling of fall that i just love. on an evening like this before ds it would have been a great night for going out with friends and enjoying some margaritas. instead we decided to skip the store in favor of picking up some chinese b/c ds had a melt down in the car. and now i'm online.

My baby isn't here yet and all I do is nest and facebook! So that's REALLY all I'll do once he's here. I actually have lots of friends but am too tired/can't even contemplate getting together with my single friends - and my married w/kids friends don't do a lot on the weekends anyway. I am getting coffee with two girlfriends tomorrow morning - does that count??

I don't have a lot of friends, but I do have friends lol. However, none of us do stuff in the evenings/weekends. We tend to get together for lunch, coffee, and steak night once a month. I am actually going to lunch with a friend tomorrow afternoon, which is rare for me since it's a weekend, but she lives out of town and only has tomorrow free.

I don't have time for friends, sad to say, unless they want to come to my house and sit on my couch in the evening... and who does? I don't have the time or the energy to go out, and it's even hard for me to meet people during the week with the girls for playdates because of their nap schedule. I'd be a recluse if it wasn't for law school!
