Hip Dysplasia/ Pavlik Harness anyone?

Anyone else having to do the Pavlik harness for hip dysplasia? 

We are having to do 23 hours a day for 4 weeks, hoping to get down to 12 after that.  Just wanted to get tips and share stories.  Thanks

    My ds had a clicky hip but not full out hip dysplasia... He had to wear a diaper brace for a couple of months. It was a pain in the bum, truthfully and he hated it but after 2 months we got down to just double diapering him instead. Now he's a fast acting, running toddler and you would never know we once worried about his hips. Good luck :)

    We didn't, but we did use the Halo swaddles, and I know they are considered "hip healthy".  Because they are a sleepsack, which is wide around the hip area, with the swaddle wings attached, you should still be able to use it to swaddle with when wearing the harness.  A casual friend of mine whose LO wore the harness said she really liked them.
