Well I've been dealing with a lot of neurological symptoms lately so I had a MRI April 5th. I went back on the 12th for the results and am told I have Arnold chiari malformation. So they are sending me to a Neurosurgeon and tell me the treatment is surgery then send me on my way. Well, they call with the appt and it is May 20th. It's 5 weeks away and I feel like crap now and have a multitude of questions. I have found support groups on the web but I don't have a clue on the severity of mine.
I know some of you have dealt with the doctor waiting crap but it really sucks. Thanks for letting me vent!

Re: Grrrrr....Doctors - NPR
Oh no! But at least you have a diagnosis now and there's treatment.. even if it's several weeks of torture until then. You'll be back to your normal self very soon!

I'm so sorry to hear you're having such serious health issues. Is there anything they can do for the pain until you can get in. Also try calling a few times to see if there are any cancellations, they may be able to get you in sooner.
