Hi ladies.
I hope you don't mind my posting here. I am trying to remain strong and positive that tomorrow I will get news that I've never, in my 6 years of ttc, received. Tomorrow is beta day following my 4/8/11 transfer of two blasts and one 8-celled embryo.
On Friday I had some brown discharge that quite honestly freaked me out. Since then, no further incidents of spotting of any kind. All I've "felt" is tired (PIO isn't helping that, I'm sure), occasional cramping here and there, and I experienced some cervical discharge yesterday. That's it. Nothing else. No sore boobs, no aversions to food, no heightened sense of smell. Nothing that I've read about for four years on these boards. Quite honestly, I feel fine, which is what is freaking me out!
Please tell me some of you felt "nothing" too before your beta. Thanks ladies!
Re: Would you help calm me, IF Vet, down?
I had absolutely no early symptoms with any of pregnancies, whether they were successful or not. I did have some 1st tri cramping with both my successful pregnancies and some spotting with Eleanor.
I am keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there!
I've had 4 BFP's and the only symptom I ever had was some mild cramping - I never had the sore boobs, smell issues etc.
I actually had more "symptoms" on my BFN cycles.
I've been lurking on the IF vets board watching for your updates. I am rooting for you!
All I felt was tired and slight cramping (like before I get af). I never had sore boobs, no food aversions to food, no heighten sense of smell, nothing. I was pretty sure af was going to show. I did not get m/s until about 8 weeks. It was not until later in 1st tri that I HAD to have fruit (that's not like me).
I hope this is it for you!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!! I'm keeping everything crossed for you!!!
I had no symptoms at all pretty much my entire pregnancy. At 10 weeks I gagged, nothing before then and nothing after then, except a growing belly and needing to eat a bit more (but that didn't come until much later).
I remember saying the same exact same thing as you. I was sure my un-pregnant self was a pro at knowing what un-pregnant felt like and should feel different pregnant. Nope. Blow me over with a feather, none of those symptoms I read about for years applied to me.
I am so routing for you!!! I will be thinking of you tomorrow!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I had ZERO early symptoms!
Oh, honey... this HAS to be it. It just HAS to!!!!!!!!! What time is your beta?
I am hoping like a mad woman.
XOXO
I had no symptoms when I was pg with T&L. I felt fine and only had some cramping. I was so, so positive that it didn't work. Even after I had my 1st beta (which was really high) I was positive that it didn't really work and that I was going to m/c again.
Actually, I felt pretty good thru my whole pg - I had some very minor food aversions but almost no m/s or major tiredness early on. I did have a few spotting/bleeding episodes, though - I think 1 before my beta and 2 or 3 after.
ETA: I keep checking every board we're on to see what's up with you.
: Yes, I'm a crazy stalker. BUT I just know you're getting awesome news tomorrow! I'm totally excited. Perhaps irrationally so...
I didn't have any symptoms before either one of my BFP's. Both times I was sure that AF was on her way.
Good luck!! I've got my fingers crossed you get a great beta tomorrow!!
Beta will be drawn at 7 a.m. I've asked my nurse to call after work (3 p.m.), but DH has asked I not take the call and let it go to voicemail so that we can listen to it together when he gets home from work...at 7 P.M.! Ugh. It's going to be a LONG LONG day!

First of all, I remember you from when I was on the IF board a lot and I'm so happy to hear that you have your beta tomorrow.
Second - I had absolutely NO symptoms whatsoever. I felt completely normal all the way up until I was 5 weeks pg and then I had a tiny bit of brown spotting for a couple days and my boobs started to get sore.
Good luck tomorrow and let us know!

nothing but a little cramping. the cramping is a good sign!
good luck!!!
Hi girl!!! I felt FINE (absolutely, fine; nothing/nada) before my beta.
Fingers crossed for you!
So hoping you get a wonderful beta!!!
With my first pregnancy (a m/c but strong first betas IVF#1) I felt NOTHING, I KNEW it had to have failed, until I got nice strong betas then things started to happen. With my second pregnancy (my daughter) I was a few days late and had ZERO symptoms other than a missing period. I would SHOCKED when I POAS and it was positive. With this pregnancy (IVF#2, in limbo still because of A LOT of bleeding, dispite good betas) I actually had quite a few symptoms but not until 11dpa5dt. I felt nothing before that.
I think the brown discharge is a good sign, always has been in my past pregnancies. GL sweetie, please let u know how it goes!

I had the easiest early pregnancy ever. I was never, ever sick. No sore boobs. No boob growth. No nausea. No sensitivity to smell. No aversions. Very few cravings. I wasn't even super exhausted. Honestly, if I hadn't known I was pregnant, I'd never have known! I think the only symptom I had was just not being hungry, which I go through phases with anyway.
FWIW, I had bright red spotting at 5 weeks and freaked the F* out. I'd gotten pregnant naturyally when we first started trying and m/c at exactly 5 weeks, so you can see where my brain went, especially as it had started the same way, with bright red spotting. Obviously, I have a healthy baby now.
I've been pregnant a dozen times, and each have been different those 1st 2 weeks. Hang in there! I cannot WAIT to hear your good news tomorrow nite.
No POAS?? You're super brave!!!!!!
Good luck tommorrow.
My 1st pregnancy was a m/c after my fresh cycle. My 2nd pregnancy, i had some symptoms ,but nothing like with my first. My husband and I where sitting talking about the m/c and it just happened to be the same day the m/c started with my 1st pg. I got up to look at the calender and realized that I was bleeding. I was supposed to leave for NJ that day to go take care of my gramma for a week, and I sat in the airport bathroom and just wept thinking that i was having another m/c. I didint though and I have a healthy almost 2 year old
My 3rd pg-with twins- I had no symptons, AT.ALL.
I didnt POAS for any of them until after my beta. The last pg though, I did POAS immediatly following my blood draw.
Cramping is the only thing I really had until after my BFP. I did have some spotting with this pg that I hadn't had before in the other two.
I can't believe you have held out until your beta!! You haven't been tempted to POAS? I am so excited and thrilled for you and I think the brown spotting is a FANTASTIC sign!!!
I will be stalking the board tomorrow evening like the others.
And I will be good and not try and talk you into POAS tonight :-)
Eek!~ I am so excited and nervous for you! I have also been stalking IF looking for updates. I am thinking so many good positive thoughts for you!!!
With Eliza, I really only had progesterone symptoms, but I just had a "gut feeling" that I was pregnant. Same with this surprise BFP, but I did notice I had some insomnia with this pregnancy before I knew I was pg and I had it with E too, but I just attributed it to nerves, hormones, etc...then but now I know it is a "symptom" for me.
Crossing all the crossable!!
All I ever had was cramping - NOTHING else. With DS I was sure that my cycle had failed and had an IVF consult 2 days before my BFP.
I am keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you!!!!!
ONLY symptom I had was brown discharge. So..... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Good golly K, this has GOT to be it for you!!! Sending humongous BFP vibes for you hon!!

I felt nothing. I did have vivid dreams and pee a lot, but that was also possibly due to PIO.
Praying for you
