Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Almost 7 months - tantrums????

DD is acting like she's throwing temper tantrums.  I KNOW this sounds crazy.  But I SWEAR she will look at me and smile and be all cutesy and then two seconds later she will pout her lip and scream.  I don't think she's in pain but it's very upsetting! :(  Anyone else's LO do something similar on occasion?

For instance she was happily eating her lunch and then I don't know if she got pissed cause I wasn't going fast enough...going to slow...had to burp...wanted to feed herself???  I gave her the spoon to chew on thinking maybe her gums were bothering her and she was happy until she dropped.  Then OMG screaming and crocodile tears.

I'm one of three girls and my mom said she thinks she was just "pissed off" but I wanted to check with some new/current moms of little girls cause sometimes my mom's logic is off!

  • Gracie is a little over 7 months and she did more or less the same thing to my mom a couple weeks ago.  My mom thinks she definitely wasn't feeding her fast enough and she pitched such a screaming fit.  Wonderful!  LOL

  • OH how dare I take a toy out of DS's hands the other day as I put on his PJs...  His mouth opened, face turned red ~~  tantrum!  And how about now when I was trying to give him a bit of food and he pushed my hand away.

    So yep, tantrums here too.
