i got a nice compliment today

we ran in to one of Tru's teachers on 19th St at Thread. We were there to take a pic with the easter bunny (didn't happen). Anyway, she picked up a pair of sneakers and mentioned how cute they were. I said they were actually Tru's that I was consigning. She commented on how Truitt has cute clothes and always looks so nice at school. She mentioned how a lot of boys just come looking kind of ragged but Tru always looks adorable.
I thought this was so nice. People say no one notices boy clothes or that boy clothes don't matter but I enjoy dressing my kids cute and it made me feel good that it was noticed. Some ppl's comments make me feel like it's a waste and that I should be content to send my kids to school in burlap sacks. Having a teacher make a nice comment like that made me smile for sure

Yay, isn't is great!!
It's tough finding cute little boy clothes without jibberish all over their shirts. We got a compliment from DS' teacher the other day about how cute we dress him, made me feel good.
