Been MIA-lost my job this week
Sorry I have only popped in here and there ladies. This year has been a crazy one already. As my subject says-I lost my job this week. I work at a University in the area for a neurosurgeon. I was his assistant-helping him write grants and such. I basically did everyone except operate. Anyway, my job was cut along with 27 others. I have no idea what to do now. My wonderful husband thinks this is a sign from the universe that I am going to get pregnant soon so why bother looking for a new job. I was thinking of going back to school but we do not need the added debt. Anyway, I am trying to stay upbeat. No baby, no job. Gah! O well, at least I will have lots more time to bump!! Hope all is well-can't wait to catch up on all the news.

I am so sorry you lost your job!
I quit mine after my miscarriage (long story), but now I have decided to find a job that offers IF benefits. There is a post on IF from earlier this week all about companies that offer IF benefits. I will go find it and try to give you the link if you would like.

I lost my job last year and it took me almost an entire year to find another full time job. In the meantime I found a very part time job at a place I loved and filled in at some other places.
Here's to hoping you'll find something you love even better!

Hugs. So sorry you lost your job. I hope you get a BFP and get to stay home. My last day at my job is tomorrow so I'll be bumping a lot more too. DH and I have a deal that if this IVF works, I can be a SAHW then SAHM. Otherwise, if I get a BFN, I'll begin looking for another paying job.

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
