*** KNemo **

re: toddler diarrhea - Ben was the same.  They told me it was "toddler diarrhea" too.... basically it's just that their diets and their systems contribute to the nasty poops, but nothing's actually wrong.   Ben used to poop 4+ times a day when he was around 18 months old.   Cooper isn't quite so bad, but pretty close I think.   I try to add bananas and cheese to back them up.  :)  And lay off the beans and some fruits that are problems - like for Cooper, I have to seriously stay away from canteloupe!  :)

Thanks, Jill. I am so sick of the blowouts. They are unreal!

He only really likes apples and bananas, so it isn't a fruit thing. But the kid would LIVE off of rice and beans. Adding olive oil and real butter to his foods seems to be helping. We can't do whole milk because he hates it! I will try whatever I can. The pedi said he will grow out of it soon. I hope she's right.

  • Sorry for butting in, but maybe I need to look into changing what Meg eats.  She poops 5+ times a day.  Pretty much with every potty.  She is a fruit junkie, and I bet that is contributing...

  • Yeah that's a lot for her age. Is it like regular formed poops or more diarrhea?
