Interesting! Thanks for sharing - the baby gate info is esp useful b/c I just noticed today that DS already figured out that if he gets up on his tiptoes, he can grab doorknobs... so I'm sure it will only be a matter of time until he realizes that the same could be true for stretching over gates to get to things!
I was reading this site earlier. I am concerned about some of their suggestions, especially the ones about baby carriers. They recommend the Infantimo sling rider, which is the one that has been recalled due to infant death. It worries me that their information is not current.

I was JUST coming back here to post the exact same thing about the Infantino! That is really worrisome.
Thanks for posting. I would never consider myself tall at 5'7", but I could never find a stroller where I wasn't hunched over and kicking the wheels. We sold most of them, so this helps for buying a new one for the little one.

I'm 5'8", which is tall, but not ridiculously so, and had/have issues w/strollers. I LOVE our Chicco Cortina - has adjustable height handle and neither DH or I have ever had issues w/kicking the back while walking. Our BabyTrend jogger also gives us no issues w/kicking it, but DOES have a handle that is slightly lower than we like. Our Chicco Capri, while a nice sturdy umbrella stroller, is AWFUL for walking behind! Handle height is fine, but I seriously avoid using the stroller b/c I'm constantly kicking it. We'll be looking for a different lightweight stroller for #2.

Thanks, we are on the hunt for new strollers for DD 2, I'll look at these. I got a old zooper that is great, but I can't adjust it for a child with no neck support.
