iPad, Tablet, Xoom and the like users...

Our anniversary is coming and I want to get my hubby something nice and although I know I shouldn't be spending anything for right now, he deserves something really nice.  He's been so supportive and patient and everything that we are going through with IF, and since he's such a gadget nerd I figured he'd like something like that.  But we have an iPhone and I'm just wondering if which one is good and if it's a waste of money since we have iPhones.

    We have iPhones and recently got the iPad2. I'm using mine right now. There are a bunch of things you can do (or do better/easier) with the iPad. For us it was between the Xoom and the iPad. Part of the reason we went with iPad is the apps. There are so many more apps for iPad than for Android. Also, when you sync you can put all of your iPhone apps on the iPad, so if you've purchased something you don't necessarily need to buy it again. Most of them look pretty good (the iPhone apps on the iPad I mean). Just keep in mind the iPad2 is hard to find, DH had to stand in line at the Apple store to get one. It does run smoother than the original, my SIL has that one and we compared them. Let me know if you have questions, we tested a bunch of different ones. :)

    We have an iPad, Dh has a Droid and they are very alike, just one is bigger then the other, lol.  Dh uses the iPad a lot at home when he's not in our office, I use it sometimes too, but more when we travel, as it holds a lot of movies, music, etc....
