Is anyone else out there sickened by garlic? i can't see it, smell it, or even attempt to get near enough to eat it....and I love garlic...used to put it in almost everything. *sigh*
My aversions have been to Chinese food and anything that reminds me of it, including candied ginger, which is supposed to be so good for combating m/s. It just mkes me hurl. Oh, and ranch dressing. Ew.

Yes I had Benihana a couple weeks ago and I dip my shrimp in garlic butter so after I was having (tmi warning) gross garlic burps so now I want nothing to do with garlic and I love it...couldn't even make my mashed potatoes with it : ( Onions also have the same effect on me, maybe even worse, yuck!!!

YES!!! My MIL was over to cook dinner the other day and she ALWAYS uses a TON of garlic, as soon as she started cooking I was hugging the toilet and even had to leave my house. I felt so bad!

Right after I found out we were expecting, I had a bad reaction to both garlic and onions, which stunk because I too love them both! I had the garlic parmesan wings from Wing Stop one day and I was burping them all afternoon. I spoke to my doctor about it, she said after my first trimester, I should be able to enjoy them again. I haven't had as much of an issue in the past few weeks. This pregnancy is way different than my first.

No, thankfully. I'd be so sad without garlic!
