Ok, so this may sound a bit (well a lot) ignorant.....but have you seen what childcare costs these days?!? OMG! How in the world do people afford it? This is not a rhetorical question...I'd really like some advice. How do you find a decent and affordable daycare? Do people ever share a nanny? We're expecting in 2 weeks and would love to find out what others in the area plan to do. Thanks in advance!

We take DS to an in home daycare and pay $125 a week but starting in August DS will be attending Preschool and that is $157 a week. Its hard to pay that much a week but it all ends up working itself out
Honestly, childcare in Nashville is a lot more affordable than other areas.
I have 2 kids in daycare (pre-k full day and 18 month old) and pay $310/week plus food. And, from what I have found, that is generally on the higher end since we provide lunches and stuff.
Its just an expense for us...like a car payment. ha.
