She's been slowly not gaining weight / losing weight for about two months now. We're working with our LC now and think we've pinpointed the problem, but she's dropped below 14 pounds and so we're giving it a week before we go see the pedi. Her head growth is still spot on (and huge at the 95th percentile!) so she's developing normally, just not gaining.
It's just rough on us both as I have to go back to almost nursing a newborn - making sure she eats at least every two hours during the day, weighing her before and after each feed and waking her up at night to feed her.
So send us all the fat baby vibes you can spare please

Lots of good vibes headed your way.
FWIW, C didn't gain any weight from months 5 - 7. I was super stressed about it. I even weaned to formula at 6 months (for that and many other reasons) and she still didn't gain. Turns out she was just meant to be small. She was in the 60th percentile at 4 months and has hovered around the 10th since. There's been talk of fattening her up with butter and milkshakes over the past 18 months but I've given up worrying. She's met all her milestones and more. She's just genetically small.
I suspect this might be the case with Eliza as well - as no way will she live up to her 9 lb birth weight. And I'll be okay with no/little weight gain, we just need her to stop losing right now.
Although heaven help my hips if she goes on a milkshake diet as a toddler, haha!

((HUGS)) Sending lots of fat baby vibes Eliza's way and some good vibes for you as well.
You should be so proud of yourself for working so hard to BF your baby. You've done great and she's lucky to have a momma like you.
yes! exactly what cali said!

thanks y'all - she's holding steady, which is good. I'd like a gain, but not losing is great!
The past three days, she's been nursing about 12 times a day so hopefully my supply will increase in the next 24 to 48 hours and we'll see some gains soon

ditto!
Glad she's holding steady this week! Hope you start seeing some gains soon.
