Would you put DD in her Easter Dress for this?

Or just a cute outfit?

Tomorrow we are going to a local park with IL's and my niece.

We are having lunch there with the Easter Bunny, followed by pictures and a hay ride that takes them out to an Easter egg hunt.

I want her to be comfy for the hay ride and easter egg hunt, but I also want her to be cute for pictures with the Easter Bunny.  So I'm thinking about putting her in her Easter dress and then just changing her shoes (from sandals to her gym shoes) for the Easter egg hunt so she's more comfortable walking around and plus it rained today so the ground may still be wet.

  • I would dress her in a cute comfy outfit and bring her easter dress ect.. You can change her for the picture.

How uncomfortable is the Easter dress?  Char is pretty comfortable-seeming in just about anything, so i would dress her up if it's a flowy cottony dress.  But if it has lots of tulle and stiff fabric than i would dress her in a cute cotton dress and bring the fancy one for the picture.

Its seems pretty comfortable.  She wore it once already for our Lady's Tea at church and seemed pretty comfortable in it.  It doesn't have any tulle or stiff fabric.

  • DD is only wearing her Easter dress on Easter. For anything else she does, I'll just put her in a cute play dress. So, that's what I would do. But, I guess it depends on how fancy the Easter dress is.

I agree. I actually have two Easter dresses for DD. One is her egg hunting dress, it's a long smocked dress with bunnies in the smocking. Her church Easter dress is more fluffy and frilly. I think she'll be pretty comfy in her smocked dress, she can usually wear those all day because they're so loose.

  • Bring a backup outfit. BTW, the pic I have in my siggy is Emma's Easter dress. Target had them for $20. I went back and they had a newborn size for Isla too. I thought it was cute even if they are going to look like Peeps.
