Because I'm watching it right now (the Kiera Knightley version). I love this movie, I watch it all the time. This is the first time DH has seen it (I always watch his movies).
He is driving me INSANE asking questions about the movie and ripping it to shreds. He thinks it's stupid.
There is no point to this post except to complain that my DH doesn't like my movie.
Re: Have you seen Pride & Prejudice?
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
I haven't seen that version, just the TV movie version with Colin Firth! (swoon)
Sorry he doesn't like your movie. I feel like Jimmy wouldn't like it either, but he'd probably suffer in silence.
I tried explaining what's going on but he's just not getting it. I'm considering just turning it off because he's so annoying with his comments.
It is. And I'm not just saying that because I hate Keira Knightley!
But I do love the movie anyway. I need to see the Colin Firth version.
I adore the BBC version of P&P with Colin Firth. It is pretty long but worth the watch. And it is much better than the Keira Knightley version so your DH is technically keeping you from watching a terrible version of it. lol
I've never watched it and never will. Kiera Knightly is no Elizabeth Bennett. I just can't do it.
I have, however, seen the Colin Firth version at least ten times, own two copies and have read the book more than five times. Pride and Prejudice got me to love reading in seventh grade.
I'm a self-proclaimed movie snob and I LOVE that version.
The cinematography is amazing and I still have a crush on Mr. Darcy.
