Recommend your sippy cup

DD has one that works OK but it does leak sometimes. I want a sippy cup that doesn't leak, BPA free, and not too hard to suck.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Re: Recommend your sippy cup

  • We went through so many! I think this is something you'll have to just try out with your DD and see which she prefers.

DD preferred these Nuby sippy cups. She hated Born Free and Munchkin (the latter was hard for ME to drink from, I try them all). For straw cups though, these Munchkin ones are her favorites along with some Playtex ones. The Playtex ones were great when she was first learning to use a straw because it flows really easily. These Nuby straw ones were TERRIBLE - even I couldn't suck ANYTHING out of them.

Edit - I forgot to mention none of them leak but the Playtex ones have a little mark where you have to "lock" them so they don't leak. I don't really use it and they still don't leak.

The Nuby leaks when she tosses it from her highchair a few times...loosens up the lid and then it leaks.

  • Loading the player...
  • DS loved the Munchkin (Target).  Then we switched to the disposables eventually, b/c they were easier to wash/put together.  But the disp. do tend to leak when tipped.  I didn't notice much leaking with Munchkin.

  • My only suggestion is not to try the Take-in-Toss...those leak for us.

    He prefers the Nuby brand.

  • They all leak...  the straws not as bad, but they are a PITA to put together.  I can't wait for the day they all go in the recycle bin!
