What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Mine is pumpkin, but has to be made fresh with only a couple ingredients, so most chains are out.  And banana.  I wish it was pumpkin ice cream season already! What's yours?

    This proabably sounds very juvenile, but it's truly my favorite and I can't find it anywhere.  Bubble Yum Bubble Gum ice cream.  It was made by the same people who make Snickers, etc. and use to have it readily available for several years, then last year it just vanished off of every grocer's shelf.  Making me very, very sad.  Baskin Robbins has bbgum ice cream but it only has gum in it, the ice cream is just vanilla or maybe barley flavored and it's just not nearly as good.

    I go for the standards - either mint chocolate chip (especially if it has good quality chips) and chocolate peanut butter swirl.

    I love peanut butter flavored ice cream, however no take home brand sells that, and only some ice cream shops have it. How come a simple flavor is so hard to find?

    Well, it depends on the brand. Ben & Jerry's Phish food. Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate (um why is there no Blue Bell up North!?). And Braum's German Chocolate!!

    there was this creamery that would make their ice cream onsite daily.  and they have this flavor called "spouse like a house".  it was delicious.  it had chunks of peanut butter and chocolate-covered pretzels.  yummm!!!  my all time favorite though, i gotta say, is vanilla.  gimme a homemade vanilla milkshake and i'm one happy girl.

    This is my FAVOURITE post EVER.  I can't pick a fave, so I'll say I like everything except plain vanilla or butterscotch.  Although I do love me some apple pie with french vanilla..mmmm hungry hungry hippo me.  I just finished scarfing a HUGE dinner too.

    Oh one more thing to add, because Ice Cream is my favourite food group.. there's this HUGE dairy in our city and they make their own ice cream, and they have 1$ milkshakes!! Slurp, slurp.

    Homemade- Nutmeg

    Breyer's- Natural Vanilla

    Local berry patch that makes their own ice cream- Blueberry 

    Hagen Daz- Mayan Chocolate

    I love this thread! My favorites are B&J Phish Food, Perry's Mint Ting-a-Ling, and Perry's lemon poundcake. Also big thumbs up to the Nestle Tollhouse Chipwich!

    I worked in an ice cream shop in high school, and sometimes wish I still did.  Easiest job ever, and I got to make and sample ice cream all day long.

    My favorite from that shop is s'mores or cotton candy explosion (cotton candy flavor with poprocks).  My current favorite is Kroger brand birthday cake ice cream.

    If anyone is off dairy and has access to Trader Joe's, the chocolate non-dairy "frozen dessert" made with coconut milk is pretty damn close to the real thing.  It's also vegan, soy free, and gluten free.
