Oh Lucky Me, A Shower Invite - for my EDD!

One of several showers for this spring. But this one is for my younger cousin's FH treat-of-the-week who he KU accidentally. They did get married, they seem to be happy. But she's 14 years younger than me, and of course got KU accidentally. (Pardon me, my bitter is showing).

Of course the shower is on my EDD.

Thank goodness I have a wedding to attend that day! I'll politely decline this one.

    Wow, I'm sorry you got that invite. I don't blame you at all for not going. And I'm glad you have a good excuse. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be "sick" for every baby shower I'm invited to.

    Ugh. I'm sorry. I'm with tapatio...tell her where she can shove that shower invite. Which reminds me, I forgot to RSVP for a FH shower that's coming up. No clue where that invite is though.

    Agreed. I haven't attended a shower since my loss in October. No plans to attend any, anytime soon, either.

    Wahoo for a good excuse!  Weddings are always fun and that hopefully will be a great event to keep you busy on that day.  This probably sounds bad, but I can create an excuse for things like that (too many lesson plans), I feel a little guilty for lying, but that's what I did for one in early March.
