First day in Target version of belly band

So my shorts no longer fit. I decided to stop fighting my closet and bust out the Target version of the Belly Band. So far so good! I have had to adjust it a couple of times but I kind of assumed I would. I am trying to hide it from peeking out from under my shirt and that is a little difficult but it just looks like an undershirt.

I thought I would try this version before shelling out the $35 dollars for the real one since Target has a decent return policy. I think I will end up keeping it!

    Agreed! Although I never had the expensive version to compare, my target brand bella band always did it for me.  

     

    PSA, it also works great after a C/S and you can't stand clothes rubbing up against your scar area- I wore mine for months under my underwear and pants after DS was born!

    I am jealous of you and your shorts.  Its windy, rainy, chilly, and did I say windy here?  I have to wear a dress today... so I added leggings and a sweater just so I didnt freeze.

    I love mine.  I got it in size M/L and I was a 6-8 pre-pregnancy (weight always goes to my hips first).  It fits kinda big right now and with some pants you can easily tell that they're unbuttoned under clingy shirts.  I might go get a S/M one to see if that helps to hold things up.  Still, most days I don't care all that much how I look, it's all about the comfort!

    I bought the Target brand already because some of my pants aren't fitting quite right.  I haven't worn it all day yet though.  I tried it around the house for a few hours and it seemed to work well.

    Motherhood has a Tummy Sleeve that serves the same purpose and sells for about $16.50.  It only comes in white and black, but it's easy to hide and works great.

    I bought the Target version of the band the other day and its great, especially for wanting to keep a flat stomach right now.  Also bought a maternity swimsuit to grow in to, since its in the 80s and sunny :)

    So jealous of you nice weather ladies!  It got to 70 here in DC for maybe 10 minutes today.  It's back to being a little chilly now.

    I bought one, but it didn't work well for me. I do have extra junk in the trunk so when I would sit, my pants would slide down and my band would ride up. :-/

    I was using mine by 5 weeks. The bloat has been impressive. Cheers to being comfy!!

    Today is my first day wearing one.  I feel and look like a stuffed sausage.  Plus my boobs are too big now for this sweater, so the buttons are pulling.  That sucks because I have this sweater in multiple colors and really like it.  My DH came in while I was dressing and said, "Oh, that looks, um,...nice!".  Putz.  Embarrassed
