Visiting the easter bunny

Are any of you taking your kids to visit the easter bunny? We never did, and I don't think I plan on it.

As a parent, it is so obvious it is a costume.. so I kind of don't get it.. what age would you/have you taken your LO to see the bunny?

I took him when him when he was a baby. I was in the mall and Mommy guilt took over. He did not go last yr.

We go to a local free event every year. The kids loved it last year so we plan on it this year. What is obvious to an adult is never obvious to a child w/a great imagination I'm learning.

Last year I took DD to a free egg hunt at one of the local parks, and they had the bunny there so I got her picture with it. We may go to Bass Pro next week to see the Easter Bunny, partly because DH wants to go there & the girls love looking at all the fish. So getting a free picture with the bunny will be a bonus... I would never pay $20 for a pic!

I havent taken her to see the Easter Bunny - we have seen it from afar at the mall or at an Easter Egg hunt - she isnt too fond of anything dressed up in big characters. She doesnt like the mascots at sporting events. She likes them being far away. Not too close.
