I know many of you on here are Seven Hills patients and have seen most of the Dr's. My primary was always Dr. Fleming and I seriously am in love with that man. He's so nice. Well, since Dr. Fesenmeier was the one at the hospital the whole time we were going through our loss with Addyston he's kind of become my primary since then. So, for my first appt today I saw Dr. Fesenmeier and he was SO nice. He went from being my least favorite Dr in the practice to my favorite over the past year.
He warned me that at 10 weeks we may not find the heartbeat on the doppler, but he did and I cried like a freaking baby! It was the best sound ever. He asked me if I had read anything anywhere that he needed to know about with a smile, and I laughed and said nothing else yet. He did agree to do bi-weekly ultrasounds to check my cervix starting at 16/18/20 weeks and he said we will re-assess from there if any more are needed. I also scheduled my NT scan for May 4th. So I will get to see the little booger again then. What a sigh of relief hearing that heartbeating again was....
Re: 1st OB appt
I saw Dr. Fesenmeier for like 3/4s of my visits when I was pregnant. I like him pretty well. Dr. Fleming delivered Logan, and I adore him.
I am so glad the appointment went well! So excited for you!
I'm glad you've had such great experiences with Dr. Fesenmeier. It sounds like he is taking really good care of you, and I'm glad they're taking such precautions to ensure a healthy pregnancy for you.
And as for Dr. Fleming............I totally agree with you on that. He is like my next favorite man after my DH and my dad.

Oh I am so happy for you April! I had such a good experience with Dr. Fesenmeier! I love him... he really was such a nice doc and did an awesome job with my c-section, even when I was scared and wanted to delivery vaginally he eased my mind with the c-section and was awesome in the OR.
Congrats!
That's great!! I remember my first OB appointment, DH couldn't make it- so I recorded the heartbeat on my phone. You can hear me saying "oh my gosh! oh my gosh!" the whole time, lol. I still have it! Such an amazing experience.
The only Doctor I disliked was Pierson, I cannot stand her. Guess what? She delivered DS! Ugh! She was awful, my entire delivery was awesome, I had the best nurse in the world- who I still keep in touch with- but I am so disappointed with how Pierson treated me. Luckily, she was only in the room for about 10 minutes, so it didn't completely ruin the experience, but I just feel like she has the worst people skills of anyone I've ever met. She's in the WRONG profession! Vent over...
I see her next month for the 1st time...lucky me!
And thanks ladies, I am on cloud 9 right now!

My appt was at 10:30. I got there about 10 minutes early and then I think I got out of there around 11:30 after their crappy phlebotomist stuck me 4 times to get my blood!

We probably just missed each other!!! I was there around 11:40. If you saw a dark haired lady pushing a black stroller....that was me!
