So I just happened to go see if there were anymore responses to the crazy stepson post and she responded on the last page that the kid tried to set their neighbors dog on fire with gasoline!

I seriously hope she's just making this up because that kid is seriously f'd up. And I wouldn't say that about just any kid with issues. Just thought you'd be interested to hear that little tidbit.

    Holy h*ll! How is this kid not on the radar of the authorities (or maybe he is)? If it is true, he is clearly a threat to society....a BIG threat. It is inevitable that he will hurt a human being in the future. This really freaks me out. I realize there are children like this out there but I guess I try not to think about it. It makes me sad for all involved. I don't know what I would do as a parent if this were my child. I'm guessing mental illness like this is usually something someone is born with? The parents must feel helpless. I'm guessing the father keeps buying him pets and is defensive about it because he is in denial and can't allow himself to really deal with what his son is. It's tragic.
