Friiiiiiiiiiday! Took forever to get here this week!
Not much going on this weekend, just a playgroup gtg on Saturday afternoon for DS.
Highlight of my week? Hmm. I think it was telling my boss that I didn't want to do something that I really didn't want to do. I know she wanted me to do it, but saying "no" felt really good!
Oh man, I am SOOOO glad it's Friday! It's been a week from hell! Too much work!
Not too many plans this weekend. DH will be working on Sunday so it'll just be me and the kiddo. Not sure what we're going to do yet but we'll figure something out. Other than that I'm hoping to get a lot of rest in!
My stove died last week.
I think we have to buy a new one this weekend.... Sort of a double edge sword. I don't want to spend the money... but love the idea of a brand new stove!
I guess overall this is a good thing. We bought and moved into our new house about 3-4 months ago. When we moved in, the house came with white appliances. We took all but our old stove (it was built in and our new house was not) from our old house and swapped them. All my appliances at our new house are stainless with the expection of the now dead stove. I guess with buying a new one - they will all match...
That Blows! But hey, at least it will match?
It has been the busiest week ever. It's not going to slow down, FIL is coming in to town this weekend (yeah!) and the house is upside down. I haven't been feeling well all week and it hasn't changed today. I'm seriously considering calling in a house cleaner last minute. Tuesday, LO and I will head down to SoCal with FIL for a few weeks. So, I have packing and laundry to do. And, DH's half ass efforts aren't going to cut it.
The highlight of my week was LO telling me "Mama I love your besos!"
Woohoo, only two more weeks of work left (if I survive that long)!
This weekend is all about kicking DH's butt into gear with our taxes and getting the nursery together. He needs to finish painting then assemble the crib. We also need to pick up a few more items for baby, but we pretty much have everything we need for the first few weeks.
The highlight of this week was when my boss and co-worker took me out for lunch on Wednesday. It was very yummy!

Happy Friday! Im working from home today, and kept J home with me so I can spend some time with him. Tomorrow we are doing stuff around the house and maybe some shopping. Sunday we are going to my good friends Easter Preformance at her church and maybe lunch with friends following!
