For those of you who have tried... how are the Sun Baby diapers compared to the BumGenius with the similar style? They seem to be a lot cheaper... do you get what you pay for, or is BG just a big brand name who can afford to charge more?
Also, thoughts on the Grovia? We like the idea of having a few different options... I'm wondering if something Grovia would be easier on days we know we'll be gone for a long time.
I'm new to all of this... due in August so we're really trying to dive into researching the best options for us. ANY help is appreciated! We're open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance, Ladies! I've got so much to learn and it is all a little overwhelming! So many choices!
Re: Sun Baby? Grovia?
I have never tried Sunbaby, but I do like Grovia, both the AI2 and the AIO. I just ordered some more AIO because they are buy 3 get 1 free right now. I love that the AIO are so trim and we haven't had any leaks. The AI2 are nice too. On Monday I was able to use one shell and 5 inserts all day (and a BG 4.0 for night. It is so much less to bring around in the diaper bag and less laundry!
The only things I don't like about Grovia are that they aren't "stay dry" and they stain easily.

The Chaos of Six!
Hey, I'm due the same month and was wondering exactly this. I've read mixed reviews of both, but decided to buy a stash of 12 Sunbaby diapers from the manufacturer https://sunbabydiapers.com/ mostly because of the price. They're $60 for 12 -- so $5 a diaper! Even if they aren't the best diaper ever, having a set of stash backups in case the power goes out or you get sick and don't want to deal with laundry is pretty appealing. I also like their color selection the best out of any diapers I've seen. So I figured why not? Worst case scenario it leaks like a mofo and I'll have to wrap them in a wool cover.
I have heard that the Sunbabies run small. I'm doing Kissaluvs size 0 fitteds & Thirsties Duo Wraps for the newborn stage, and I have some Bummis Easy Fit OSAIOs and Sunbabies ready for after that. If the Sunbabies work, I'll get more. If not, I'll go with the Bummis. (Bummis are $24 each. Ouch!)
