After last nights UO about make-up

where I said I rarely wear it, I got up and did my make-up and my hair (which I also rarely do). DH still has not noticed. I've decided it's just not worth it. Why wake up 20 minutes earlier if it goes unnoticed? Ugh Embarrassed

Unrelated, but unless I finish my giant ass project at work today, I won't be around until Monday-so I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!

    Aw, I'm sorry he didn't notice! I'm sure you look fab. DH doesn't say much when I have makeup on either. I don't think he cares. I didn't wear makeup when we met and still don't, haha.

    I hope you finish your project so you can hang out! I won't be around much either this weekend because I have a bridal shower on Saturday and a birthday part on Sunday.

    I normally wear eyeliner, mascara and shadow on a regular basis, if I wear foundation, blush, anything along those lines my husband is all "why are you wearing that?"  "You don't need to wear that"  "What are you working the corner tonight?" (that last one is more of a joke between us) Smile

    Awe.  Sorry you wasted your time with that!  I read that thread last night, but I was on my phone & I'm unable to post from it.  Anyway, I'm not a make-up person either.  I wear mascara & that's about it.

    Haha!  I'm the opposite this weekend.  I have a birthday party Saturday & a bridal shower Sunday!

    I think the last time I wore make-up was my wedding (over 5 years ago) and that consisted of blush and lipstick.  I do not wear make-up.  PP I have had to throw some concealer on - but that is just to hide blemishes.

    I have a 5 minute routine: lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, blush, powder, lipstick sealant (for the outlast lipsticks) and done. I usually leave before my husband's awake so he never notices.

    Maybe you didn't put enough make-up on Wink Try this look next time:

    Yeah but you're super cute without it!  Sorry DH didn't notice :(  I put some make up on almost daily, even though DH doesn't care either way, lol.  Now the hair is another story and its pony tails pretty much everyday.  I don't care at all.

     

    Good luck with your project!  It will be a long weekend without JKat!

    I rarely wear make up either.  If I do it's minimal.  I think hippo posted a survey about beauty products a few days ago and a lot more people than I expected said they don't wear make-up or rarely wear it.  It made me feel better that I don't very often.  I try really hard to not give in to Western culture's definition of beauty because it is just so effed up!
