Pregnant after a Loss

Spent overnight in L&D

on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

Nasty GI bug (second time in 1.5 weeks) that prevented me from keeping anything in my system (either end) and--because of the dehydration--gave me bad cramping and contractions.

Seven hours, 3.5 bags of IV fluid, 4 pee tests, Zofran and Tylenol later, my ketones went from "high" to "moderate".  My cramping stayed the same, but they released me because baby's HB was okay and I was rather (partially?) hydrated again.

Not a fun experience.  I still feel like azz, which is why I haven't posted about this until now.

Time to feel good in this pregnancy!

    Thanks, ladies!

I'm keeping some food down now (thanks to Zofran every 6 hours), but still don't feel like I can eat much of anything.  My biggest success in the past 48 hours has been a small slice of thin cheese pizza for dinner last night.  Ate the whole slice!  Woohoo
