Howdy! Update

Hi... I've been MIA, but now I'm back at work I was trying to enjoy my last few weeks at home with Ellie.

Anyway, being back to work is nice for me. I'm easing back in slowly, coming in just 3 days a week and only about 6 hours/day. Hoping to make up other hours at home, but yesterday that didn't go so well. Ellie has aunts and grandparents caring for her the first few weeks and will start up daycare next Thursday. She's having bottle issues which is hard for me, but still seems to be happy and growing.

Oh, and this weekend I'm tackling my first weekend without John, he's heading to a bachelor party.

I'm still struggling with some PPD and PP anxiety but getting better day by day.

Awww... I love the recent Ellie pic!

Glad to hear the transition has been relatively smooth. It must be hard to be back at work, but you guys will find your rhythm and hopefully you'll still get plenty of quality time as a family. Good luck with your first weekend on your own! You'll be fine!

Glad to see you! It does take time. This is my 4th week back at work and I still feel a little discombobulated! J changed his sleeping and eating patterns a lot when I went back to work. Not in a bad way, we just needed to adjust.

Needless to say...Ellie is quite the cutie!
