I agree! Hi there! I know this board isn't very active, but nice to see another riverside mama! I joined a local moms group in hopes of meeting more people. Then I realized how hard it.is to get anywhere on time with an infant ...
ksmommy: I have never tried the email option. I try and get on each morning and check to see if anyone has replied, sometimes though I just head straight to my birth month board because it's busy over there.
FtrMrsC: how did last night go? DD is still not sleeping the night in her crib. I can get her down in the crib for her first stretch, which is from about 8 till 10, 10:30ish but then I can rock her back to sleep and as soon as I lay her down in the crib she freaks out. She takes naps fine in crib though!

ARGHHHH....YAWN! Does that answer it? lol! He was up every 45mins- hour after the first stretch being about 90mins. It was torture. Around 3:30am I tried putting him back in the RNP but at that point he was already P.O'ed. I ended up co-sleeping with him on the guest bed the rest of the night. I hate it bc he kicks, and stays attached to me the whole time and my back gets all wonky.
But...He's been napping in his crib for an hour now. So maybe I just have to be consistent. I did put in a crib wedge and blankets to make a little oval "nest" today. Tonight we will battle again. DH is off work until Monday so that would be helpful, IF DS would go back to sleep without nursing. Alas, it is not so.

Wow, I don't think I have that type of patience! I try and try to get her down in her crib and I get frustrated thinking about how I have to get up early and go to work the next day so I just bring her to bed with me. She knows as well because when I do, she is asleep instantly. Little bugger!

Yeah.. so the patience didn't last. I wanted sleep so badly that we went back to the RNP. I did, however, buy a new crib. One that I don't have to stand on tip-toes to reach into. Still haven't put it together but baby steps....
