2 Pregnancy Tests...2 Very Faint Lines

Hi,
 
I am new here....moving over from the infertility forum. I took 2 pregnancy tests today and both of them gave me very, very faint lines. Should I consider this to be positive? Just wanted to hear some experiences. TIA! 
TTC since Jan '10 (Me 29, Hubby 30) Married just over 5 years from SoCal Diagnosed PCOS in May '10 and MTHFR Gene. 3 early m/c's in 2011. BFP Feb 8th '12 at 9DPO. Beta #1 (11DPO) = 28 Beta #2 (15DPO) = 140 Beta #3 (23DPO) = 2853! Due 10/22/12! Liam is here! Born 10/2/12 image

    Oh...I am 11DPIUI (Had the IUI done on April 3rd) so I tested quite early. 
    TTC since Jan '10 (Me 29, Hubby 30) Married just over 5 years from SoCal Diagnosed PCOS in May '10 and MTHFR Gene. 3 early m/c's in 2011. BFP Feb 8th '12 at 9DPO. Beta #1 (11DPO) = 28 Beta #2 (15DPO) = 140 Beta #3 (23DPO) = 2853! Due 10/22/12! Liam is here! Born 10/2/12 image

    That's what hapepned to me, they were verrrrry faint, so a friend recommended I get the digital test, it's like 2 for $10 at target, it's the clear blue one. If you take that one, it'll be clear. When i went to the dr for the first pregnancy test, they also got a faint line and said the clear blue tests are very accurate.

    Most of the ladies on this board will say a line is a line! Congrats!

    If I may make a suggestion, you should call your doctor for blood work to confirm.

    You are definitely pregnant!!!! Congrats!!!! Any line in the 'test' field is positive!!!!

    I tested 5dp5dt and got a bfp (very light had to squint), tested again the following afternoon w/a digital and got pregnant. A line is a line!

    Did you test out your trigger shot? If you did and got faint lines within the right time frame, I would say that they are truly positive. :) The first one I took (8dp5dt) was so light that I convinced myself it was an evaporation line. I tested later that night with a FRER and got a clear positive.

    When is your beta? If it isn't scheduled for awhile, you might want to call your doctor and ask if the test date can be moved up. Best of luck to you!

    I triggered with Lupron, so not an HCG shot....so I don't think that would create a false positive. 

    I wasn't supposed to test until Sunday...and that is when I am supposed to call my Dr to go in for the blood work. I am going to test again tomorrow with FMU and if it's showing positive, I might call and see if I can get blood work done tomorrow!

    After 2 and a half years of trying I was skeptical when I saw the first "faint" line. Yes, a line is a line, but it didn't stop me from buying 3 different kinds of tests a peeing on every stick I could find. Go get a digital-when you see the words it will put you at ease!

    Oh, I missed that part! In that case, congratulations!! I hope the doctor's office will get you in tomorrow rather than making you wait all weekend. Congrats again! :)

    I only took digital tests...that way there is no denying...it's either 'Pregnant' or 'Not Pregnant'. Good luck!

    mine were faint too! I tested with a digital just to be sure. I still test every so often just to be sure! I will be a neurotic mess the whole time!
    TTC #1 since 5/10 BFP 4/9/11 Natural M/C 5/15/11 Hypothyroidism and PCOS Clomid 1/13...

    I would suggest going to the doctor & having a Serum Pregnancy test done (blood).  They are much more accurate!  I had negative or Invalid urine pregnancy tests, then the doctor I work with did 2 blood tests & they were both positive.

    Also, testing with your 'first urine' of the morning is supposed to be the best time to test.

    different tests get positives at different levels of hcg.

    i tested at 6po and got a super faitn line (u needed to put it up to the sun and squint to see it lol) tested at 7po and same line

    went in and did urine test at docs at 8po and got a negative (the nurse was really insensitive and  condescending and told me it was in my head :( but my doc sent me in for a blood test and it came ack positive at 31hcg (8dpo) boooyah! take that jerk nurse!

    anyway, my point is, be patient, test again tomorrow..hgc levels double every 48 hrs, and most tests read at 25-50hcg.. average hcg is strong enough to read at around 10-12 days dpo ----(based on recent addiction to googling hcg levels)
