Anyone else on prometrium now or in your past life?

Gawd, this drug is killing me.  I am 6dp iui, and taking 100 mg 3 x a day orally and it's kicking my arse.  If I wasn't taking this drug I would think I was pregnant, I am so tired, sick to my stomach, dizzy, crampy, painful boobs... all from prometrium.  I hate it!!  Angry

    I took them as supps. Sorry it's wreaking havoc on you.

    IVF# 1 W/ICSI= BFN
    IVF# 2: cancelled d/t no response
    IVF# 3= 1 egg retrieved=immature/not viable

    Found DHs BT and Me-decreased blood flow to uterus
    Recommended DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. Decided to cycle locally

    DE IVF# 1(cycle #6) w/pgd, (freeze all): 30R, 23M, 15F, slow/poor embryo development, 4 biopsied, 1 Normal "Norm"; DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. 
    IVF# 6: (OE/DS) cancelled
    IVF# 7: (OE/DS) 1R, 1M, 1F, arrested day 5
    Plan-DE IVF# 2 (cycle #8): DE/DS in May 2015

    My sister is taking it now and she HATES it!!! Sorry you're having a hard time on it. :(

    During all my IUIs I took the oral version but only twice a day and my RE still wants me to take it for awhile longer.  In the beginning, it sucked @ss but after awhile my body got used to it and it's not so bad.

    I only took it orally when trying to induce a missing period.  After ovulation during treatment cycles, they gave me a compounded progesterone capsule that I took as a vaginal supp.  The oral version gave me all the same side effects you're talking about and I only took that once a day... I can't imagine 3x a day!  You poor thing!  Can you ask them if you can take it vaginally instead?  It's not fun, but you shouldn't have all those symptoms at least.

    Thanks so much for lunch, I have felt sick and dizzy ever since I popped that stupid round pill at lunch, ugh!! Only 1.5 hours until I can go home, yay!

    Yes, the nurse mentioned that if I was having really bad side effects I could try it vaginally, which I just might.  I was trying to hold out another 6 or 7 days until my BFN so I could stop taking it... I'm obviously not a very positive thinker, ha! Stick out tongue

    I am taking it for my FET and I took it last month for my IVF. The only side effects I have are sore boobs. Pantyliners are a must because the supps stains my underwear bright yellow. Yuck.

    I forgot to add that the prometrium has irritated the sh*t out of my vagina. Same thing happened last month, too. Sorry if tmi, but it's super sore on the outside. I'm definitely going to ask to be put on PIO next time.
