Went in for the heartbeat....

... and we got an u/s instead!  We couldn't pick up the heartbeat on the "microphone" so my doctor said that we should just go get a quick ultrasound.  Yay!

    Congrats!  We just saw our baby for the first time today too!  It kinda makes you excited all day doesn't it? Smile

    Yay!! That's great!  Were you crazy nervous since they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler?  How far along are you?

    So awesome! I'm glad you got to see your baby! If I remember correctly, I think you mentioned before that you had to wait until 20 weeks?

    I wasn't terribly nervous when she couldn't find the heartbeat.  I have a tilted uterus and my doctor was very clear that even though we might not hear the heart it might just be because of the position of the baby.  I wasn't supposed to get an ultrasound until 20 weeks so I am elated to have one today!  It's really amazing-- and we zeroed in on the heartbeat and heard it on the ultrasound.  Yay!

    My DH and I had some tears (just one or two) but we are so excited.
