Hi ladies,
I am the room mom for DD's classroom at daycare, which means I am in charge of planning teacher appreciation week activities/gifts. I usually throw out suggestions and the other parents pick the one they want to do. In the past, we've done bagels/cream cheese for breakfast, a Starbucks run, cupcakes, thank you cards, etc.
Anyone have any new and exciting ideas for teacher appreciation? I always think they get must get tired of getting donuts and muffins, but I'm at a loss for ideas of what else to do (except for stealing bh's flowerpot idea).
DD has three teachers, if that helps.
Thanks for any ideas you have!

Re: Teacher appreciation week ideas?
In the past I have had in my classroom:
each child bring in 1 flower. By the time everyone was at school I had a really nice bouquet to take home. (I always kept a vase in my classroom so that wasn't an issue)
Everyone chips in for a gift card
One of the schools I worked for did this:
Monday - Thanks a Latte!Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate is on us.
Tuesday - Thanks a Bunch!
Bunches of Fruit awaits you!
Wednesday - You're a Lifesaver! Thanks for keeping us afloat!
It's Wellness Wednesday; treat yourself to healthy drinks and granola bars.
Thursday - You are Souper!
Treat yourself to a selection of soups cooked by the "group".
Friday - Thank you for being so sweet!
Enjoy some delightful desserts and sweets!
When I was a preschool teacher (15+ years ago) I loved the treats...I really think the above idea is great! also I heard DS old teacher saying what a lifesaver the starbucks gc were at the holidays also depending on how your doing this a manipedi or just a pedi since they are on their feet alot...I am allergic to scents but most hand lotions or even a candle is nice...beach bag ote gee I could go on and the $ stores around here(dollar tree) have great little trinkets to say your the best...Lillian Vernon has great engraved deals online for teacher gifts...key chain and say something cute about them being a key figure or key to sucess...
When is that btw??? i need to get on the ball for DS class...
