What will you use the stroller for? Just for traveling/airport? Regular walks in the park? The stroller that best fits your needs will depend on what those needs are. That being said, I have a Bob Revolution and I assure you that it's worth every penny. Initially I had an Evenflo travel system and while it served it's purpose, you can't even compare it to the Bob. The Bob is much easier to push and the suspension system provides a much more pleasant ride for your baby. We also have the Bumbleride Indie Twin and I could never say enough good things about that stroller. I love it. LOVE it.
I heart my Baby Jogger City Mini. I love that it's so light, easy to push, simple to fold, has a good suspension, and folds up so small. The 2011 model reclines pretty far and even though the basket isn't super easy to access at first, after I got it figured out, I can get a lot of stuff in there. It can often be bought (use your coupons!) for under $200.

I second all of this. It really depends on what you want in a stroller, though. Before we bought our City Mini we were using a Snap 'n Go with our infant seat. That was great for the first six months, and I'm glad we waited to buy our City Mini until after he was born. By the time we purchased it I really knew what I wanted. We were able to get ours for $170 with a Groupon and a store promotion.
I agree about figuring out what you are going to use the stroller for. We have a Bob that we use for walks, when we go camping and we we are generally out and about and not on smooth surfaces ( mall etc). We are have just a basic stroller from Babies R us that I use when I go shopping or just a quick errand. I love love love the Bob but find it a bit big for the mall or shopping. We bought our Bob on sale at REI before little one was born. Used the snap and go ( bought at consignment shop for $ 20) until he could sit up really well and then bought our small stroller.

Totally agree. I had an Evenflo travel system and it was great while DD was still in her infant seat. Now we have the UPPABaby G-Luxe and I love it. It folds down umbrella style, can stand on it's own, has a basket (small but it works for a diaper bag), reclines to any angle, and has a cup holder (not good for open cups, but great for water bottles or DDs sippy). It's super easy to steer and I fell in love with it even more when my sister was visiting. She has the same travel system stroller I had, and when we were out together it was obvious how much easier to handle the smaller stroller is.

I third all of this. I knew I only wanted ONE stroller - so it needed to be sturdy, simple, easy to collapse and not too big. And we sleep it in all the time, so the recline is awesome. It's perfect for us. Really best to go to the big BabiesRUS stores and test-drive...AND ask Moms about town when you see something you like. Then buy where you can get best deal (our was at diapers.com with a first time buyer code)
Worth every penny! We have a BOB and love it! We have the ironman, which is mainly for DH to jog..it doesn't have the swivel wheel like the revolution. Hindsight, I would have bought the revolution as our one stroller. We had a Graco that matched the infant seat that served a purpose but again, hindsight is 20/20. br>we now have the Bumbleride Indie Twin as our main stroller for 2, but I am looking to sell it shortly and the city mini is on my list to look at when going back to a single.
once you "drive"the BOB (or Bumbleride or the like) you will not go back to base model. Lol
The one thing that you may want to think about is whether this is going to be your only child or not.
I jog. I have a very simple (yet not very well made) jogging stroller. I am glad I didn't spend more on a BOB Revolution because I know that I am going to have another kid. I would rather pay a little bit more and get the BOB Dualie so that I can run with both kiddos, not just one. The BOB is seriously the luxury vehicle of the stroller world. They push and steer like butter. It is an amazing stroller. But if you don't run or walk often, you really don't need it!
I have the MacLaren Triumph Umbrella stroller. It is my go-to and I love it. It folds up small and fits neatly into my back cargo space (I don't really have a "trunk" in my Element). It also reclines. I LOVE this stroller.
