Ok so here is a little background... I did not get my period yesterday as I was supposed to and so I tested late last night and got a faint bfp on first response hpt. So excited!! This morning I woke up with some cramping and got a bfn! WTF! Also, I apologize in advance if this is TMI but I found it to be really weird as I have never seen this before but after my bfn this morning I had a huge clump of very stretchy CM with a few streaks of brownish pinkish blood in it, and I have had slight lower back cramping very light AF cramps which is also out of the ordinary for me... and now I have just a panty liner on since 7am and there is barely anything there and I only see an increase when I wipe... how could I have a bfp last night and then bfn this morning and not have my full on period .... what is going on!! HELP!!
Re: faint bfp then bfn and brownish spotting (TMI warning! :)
my RE said mild spotting and cramping is normal
good luck

UPDATE-- the nurse from my doctor's office called and told me that because I was on clomid and did the trigger shot they are sure I ovulated and if I am not pregnant that I should have my full on period and since I only had that little bit of brownish spotting she has asked me to come in early tomorrow morning for a blood test, as for the faint bfp and then bfn she said that not only are hormones different at night versus in the morning but also each test even if the same brand may not be exactly the same and when levels are at their lowest it can give mixed results... I am almost afraid to get my hopes up again ... we will test again tonight to see if there is anything there and we will be getting blood work done in the early am and results by tomorrow morning! Wish me luck ladies ... I am slightly optimistic but 100% praying!!
I think you might want to post this on TTGP. This board is specifically for people who are having problems conceiving. Unfortunately I can't congratulate you on what you think is your BFP because I don't know you and you've only had 12 posts. Most of us have been here for the better part of a year (and many many many more). GL to you
